This webinar will provide insight on how to properly communicate bad news to patients and their families. Recent studies show that a majority of patients prefer full disclosure regarding their current health. Therefore, training healthcare professionals to deliver such news has become more important than ever.

Patients interpret news very differently, and we as healthcare professionals must be very cognizant of that fact. We will teach two main methods of delivering such news: the mnemonic ABCDE method, as well as the 6-Step process. Lastly, we will cover some recommended reading, as well as a few myths that are generally discussed in the industry.
