Maintaining Dignity Through Maximizing Ability

Thursday, March 11 | 3:00 p.m. — 4:00 p.m.
Online Webinar

Presented by Amy Matthews, Dementia Coach

When caring for a person with dementia the tendency is to focus on what the person can’t do as opposed to looking at what parts of a task the person can do. This program will discuss the importance of identifying and maintaining remaining abilities. This program will also provide tips and tools to assess and maximize abilities through adapting the environment to emphasize what the person can do and provide him/her with a sense of dignity and control while maintaining skills.
